A MUST in Heiligenhafen. Best service, best food. Any time

The taste is great, but you have to leave a lot of money to get full. The terrace and inside very nice. Good food and drinks menu, but too expensive. Service is bad! Were there a couple of times in the summer and even had to sit up on the terrace for two, surrounded by two large groups. Had to wait forever for drinks and food to be ordered. Service 0 stars!

A nice restaurant that offers Asian cuisine. The food is very good, but also quite expensive. In terms of taste, the dishes do not quite do justice to their price range, there is still room for improvement. The selection of dishes is relatively large and sufficient. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Very tasty and everyone was full (even the size of the starter was enough). We were also served quickly and friendly and our two medium-sized dogs were no problem either. We were all very satisfied :)

The service was nice and hot water was brought to us beforehand to warm the food for our toddler. The food was okay, but nothing special. But the prices are tough.

From the boss to the service staff, everyone is super friendly and eager to please. The food is excellent. In addition, you sit here very nicely with the great view. Absolutely recommendable. A plus for Heiligenhafen. The newly offered autumn menu with variations of chanterelles started with the soup, followed by a starter, main course with duck breast and applecrumble dessert. We have never eaten anything so delicious. Everything was so well seasoned, five stars to the chef. Definitely recommended, it's worth it.

The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, I have to deduct a star, because our schnapps, which we wanted to drink before dinner, was only given after three complaints after dinner. In addition, at our table next to us, which ordered far ahead of us, the food was only brought after our meal after we complained.

The food was tasty but nothing special. Service could be a lot more attentive, for example empty glasses were left for 15 minutes, then we looked for contact and reordered. Our food came and then the cutlery. Only when clearing would be asked if it tasted good. Unfortunately the price performance is not right.

Tourist spot, of course, popular, yes. I have had definitely better Asian infused food. Prices on the high side, but the atmosphere sitting across from the harbor is unbeatable

Great location, delicious food, friendly staff. Sometimes you wait a little longer or have to draw attention to yourself. But since it is usually well filled, one likes to overlook it.

I was just amazed. In the beautiful village of Heiligenhafen the best sushi I've ever eaten !! Very tasty, good recommendations from a very very nice staff. And the drinks are very good too. Please go over to the team, please keep it up.

Just great! It was very busy, which is why the service took a little longer, but this makes up for the ambience and the excellent food. For such a good kitchen I like to wait a little longer until I am served. The next visit is definitely noted in the calendar!

We went to Tamatsu today. The table was ordered a week in advance. Unfortunately, everything didn't work. Unfortunately, we are in the Corona time and unfortunately no hygienic measures are being observed! We sat in the bar, close together. All tables were occupied. Guests walked through the restaurant without mouth and nose protection. Tables were insufficiently wiped after use and change of guests. We didn't have to leave our personal details. After we pointed out to a member of staff while we were walking that we didn't like that, that guests weren't made aware that they were moving without mouth and nose protection, we were laughed at. And that in a higher priced restaurant! Was our last visit.

Reservation for 5 p.m. Friendly welcome, very friendly, attentive service. Food arrived promptly, very pleasantly seasoned and delicious. The Spice Fish Soup (€ 8.50) lacked the game fish, with only vegetables as a deposit. Fish was still served on request, but then charged with a nice surcharge of 4 € without any information (was the only downer).

Not recommended - we were there to have a few cocktails ... according to the Corona rule, a waiter should show us to the table. We were noticed, but not shown to the table (despite little activity) ... at the table it just went on ... we waited forever until we got the menu, waited forever until the cocktails came, we wanted to leave, then someone came and finally served us ... the cocktails were underground ... there was definitely no high quality alcohol in them! It's a shame when you pay 8.00 € for such a cocktail ... disappointing .. we should have gone ..

Extremely attentive service !!! When I ordered my wine, I was recommended an even better wine that is not on the menu but represents an upgrade to a wine on the menu. Thanks to the waiter. The prices are reasonable thanks to the whole team for the great evening.

With the waitress Jessica, the restaurant runs smoothly and perfectly! When she visited the restaurant again, she was unfortunately not there and it didn't work at all! Very long waiting times and we were often forgotten! The food was very good though; the service staff still has a lot of potential upwards!

In honor of our wedding anniversary, we decided to have dinner here. The waitress was very attentive and realized that we had something to celebrate:) she asked politely and made our table special. We were very happy about this gesture and then enjoyed a very delicious meal :) Thank you for that ??

The food is great. Ambience is just mega! The service was absolutely convincing! 5 stars because no 10 can be awarded. Convince yourself !!

Great location. Friendly staff. Some great dishes. Far too expensive for what it is and staff managed to deliver wrong dish. However, they rectified this by serving an extra dish on the house even without asking. It is a good place but the prices are over the top. We have had better dishes for less elsewhere. Good food made with love doesn't have to be expensive.

We had a phantastic evening here and this restaurant was a recommendation of a friend who is a sushi expert. Tamatsu has excellent sushi and there is a high risk of getting addicted to it. Which would not be too bad as visiting their restaurant at the marina of Heiligenhafen does not only offer delicious and freshest sushi but also a table on their beautiful terrace with a mowt beautiful vacation scenery while looking at sailing yachts. On a summer evening it definitely feels like being somewhere much further away than in Northern Germany. In cold season you can enjoy the food and the view from behind big panorama windows within their modern and stylish restaurant. If you love sushi and the Baltic Sea, this is definitely a restaurant worth travelling to!

My boyfriend and I were eating sushi at TAMATSU for the first time at the end of July and we were absolutely thrilled. The service was very attentive and friendly and the food was a real culinary treat. We have never eaten such good sushi elsewhere. TAMATSU is highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

Neat Asian restaurant, very good food

Food was good overall. Sushi of average quality. Probably good compared to local alternatives around. Ground and toilets dirty, long waiting times. Stuff unexperienced but friendly. Interior design ok, a bit cheesy. All in all a nice restaurant but too overpriced for the overall experience.
